I would like to thank whoever is responsible for allowing me the privilege of driving on "simulated lunar landscape" also known as the Cross Crossing Interchange in San Fernando.
Although my dream of becoming a NASA astronaut has not been fulfilled, I am so ever grateful that the powers that be have allowed the roads in the interchange to deteriorate to the point that many young citizens travelling with their parents can feel as if they were riding a "moon rover" akin to the Mars rover. I assure you that this is one ride that Disneyland does not have; maybe it's our best kept secret. Perhaps on weekends the City of San Fernando can charge motorist a small fee to experience such an "out of this world" ride.
The fees would be pure profit, since no maintenance is required to upkeep the surface of this lunar landscape. There your earthly vehicle would encounter depressions, trenches, bumps, holes, undulating asphalt and a general harsh surface fit for any Hollywood blockbuster involving the moon. I want to encourage each and every citizen to experience this ride while it is still free, since the chance of us making it to the moon is quite small.
