PNM PRO Faris Al Rawi should be penalised for bringing to the Parliament an unverified document which he initially claimed he got in his mailbox. Is this the best the PNM can dish out in the Senate and feel they are contributing to the betterment of T&T?To bring a document that someone got under suspect circumstances to one of the highest places of debate without even verification of the document is reckless and indeed unprofessional behaviour of someone who is a well-qualified lawyer.
The first red flag that should have been raised was that if the Prime Minister, President and Attorney General didn't receive any report by the PCA, did it occur to Mr Al Rawi that it could be a false document? Is this the best the PNM has to offer now–no verification of sources before bringing it to Parliament? This is the trend the PNM has been on in their acts of desperation to stay relevant–from bringing unverified e-mails that looked false from the beginning, to this new issue.
I expect that Ms Gillian Lucky will launch a full-out investigation into this matter as it shows regardless, that there may be a leak and breach somewhere in the system.
