For years governments have touted the idea of constitution reform but without actually doing anything about it. Well, the PP Government has put their money where their mouths are and has put forward changes which are more than reasonable. But the tired old PNM people, Rowley, Hinds, Cox, Mc Donald and Imbert are, as usual, against everything. They have no ideas of their own but can only follow a leader like lambs.
They even boast that they have to follow instructions. Whatever happens to these proposed changes, I hope that in 2015 we get a whole new crop of PNM people; young and dynamic and ready to be innovative. I don't want to be ruled–or fooled–by tired old voices from the past. Even Mr Al-Rawi sounds as if he is quoting Imbert's cynical superlatives, full of the "worst" this and the "worst" that. I just wish they would just let things get done.
