I attended the recent land conference hosted by the Land Settlement Agency and others. While there I was astonished to find out that the Minister of Planning had a backlog on appeals for over two-and-a-half years.
If the Minister of Planning is too busy to help out the poor man, then he should be replaced because people who build houses without Town and Country approval are mostly well-off people who don't need loans. The ones suffering would be the ones who cannot build cash, so they would be the less fortunate in society.I am making a heartfelt plea to the Prime Minister to please appoint someone in the planning ministry who would be more effective than what we have now.
