We need to be more vigilant, T&T. Mothers and fathers, grandparents and guardians, well-wishers, community leaders, religious bodies, all after God, let this be, for our children, a nation's "2015 we resolve."We resolve to drive safer on the nation's roadways. We resolve to be ODPM and MET-informed daily and adhere accordingly. We resolve to enjoy the season in groups for greater safety. We resolve to designate an alcohol-free, drug-free and rested driver, especially for long commutes.
We resolve to buckle up the children in a car seat, in the back seat of the vehicle and look back upon exiting said vehicle. We resolve to value life by practising safe sex and even abstinence during the Carnival period. We resolve good health, including a balanced diet, more water and the needed vitamin Bs, Cs and Omega 3s. We resolve to help when needed (kudos to the officer at San Fernando General Hospital for the cup of coffee).
We resolve to stop littering and be environmentally friendly. And finally, we resolve to do our part and aid in the fight towards a beach-safe, road-rage and crime-free 2015 T&T. Trinidad and Tobago, we resolve!
