Has anyone ever considered that at the intersection of Fifth Street and Sixth Avenue Barataria, where numerous fatal accidents have occurred, the traffic sign there may be the contributor?
Proceeding east along Fifth Street, there is a "no right turn" traffic sign positioned on the left side of the road, just before the traffic lights. To the unfamiliar motorist, wouldn't the sign indicate that if one cannot turn right then it is ok to turn left? Consequently the motorist would be crossing the Priority Bus Route on the green light!
Who is responsible for this faux pas? I would think that the traffic sign should say "no left turn" similar to the sign at the traffic lights further up the road after the Croisee lights at the Aranguez junction.
I urge the authorities to please fix the signage. How many more must die?
