Now with the "acceptance" of same sex marriages in the United States and other parts of the world, I wonder what phrase the relevant parson/preacher/minister uses to end the marriage ceremony: "I now pronounce you man and..." What?
Does it mean that publishers of dictionaries have to redefine the words "man" and "wife" now?After all, those words do refer to certain genders.On another point, do these people have to officially register their sex changes with the authorities and would an examination be necessary to prove such? This in my opinion would be necessary for biological records.
Maybe these are some issues that need to be considered before they go rushing off to please minority groups.
