This problem with vendors all over the place is solvable. In the UK vendors are given an open space to ply their wares. This space is usually near to the town centre, but not in the town centre. It also has ample place for parking, or is on a bus route.
These vendors are mobile, as our vendors here are. They are allowed to vend in a town's allocated spot one designated day per week. They move from town to town. This does two things. It keeps the town centres clear and it gives the vendors a wider range of people to sell to.
Therefore, I humbly suggest, that every town in T&T, find a designated spot for the vendors and get our streets cleared. Worst case scenario–you could block a side street in the town centre, for one day, and allow vending then. People who purchase from vendors can go and buy on that day. The rest of us will keep far, far away, if we so choose.
