There has been too much political gerrymandering by the Opposition with regards to the FATCA bill, using the guise of public/national interest at the heart of their arguments.

Having listened to almost six hours of smoke and mirrors with no substance in their arguments, only requesting consultations and further post-shifting with no specifics, it seems as though we are protecting the infamous parasitic oligarchy in a covert operation intended to stray from facts and confuse the citizens and place a veil of political mire as a method to obstruct any progress.

So, to all members of Parliament, it would be wise to remember that “courage is what it takes to stand up and speak. It is also what it takes to sit down and listen.”

—W Churchill.
