Almost two weeks have passed since the controversial High Court ruling on Sections 13 and 16 of the Sexual Offences Act aka the Buggery Laws.

No online info from Immigration
I saw in the news that there are 40,000 uncollected passports. It’s impossible to find out on the phone if a passport is ready and in this day and age there is no way to check online either.
As an example, this is my son’s form to collect (above) and, as he lives away, I’m trying to collect it for him but I’m supposed to find my way into PoS, get parking, go into Immigration only to be told “it’s not ready yet,” check back in two weeks, and then repeat.
Forget getting a human on the phone either. I’ve been trying all phone numbers for three hours now.
A simple check online, using the unique number on this green form, would go a long way in informing as to the status of the application.
I would be happy to work for free with the web admin person (their web site is beautiful) to get this set up. I’m sure it will take an hour, max.
