As a young bi-annual visitor to Tobago for the last ten years. I have observed how the ambience of that lost paradise has changed for the worse.

Almighty God, as we as a nation usher in not only a new year but indeed a new decade, teach us to view each day as a clean slate, a fresh chance to write a new script and seize new opportunities. Teach us to value each day’s experiences and seek to learn and grow from them.

I have a piece of advice for the thousands of people who have applied for houses through the NHA, some for over fifteen years and to date have received no response.

Because I have high hopes for Mayor Louis Lee Sing, I want to share my thoughts with him in the hope that he will not disappoint us.

Is was appalling to hear the comments from the head of the Mt Hope Maternity Hospital after the unexplained death of a mother after childbirth.

The two senior cabinet ministers, Attorney General Anand Ramlogan and Works and Transport Minister Jack Warner, responsible for the new cell phone law prohibiting the use of cell phones while driving, both sat at a post-Cabinet press conference and informed the nation that the...
