Tobago has stalled in its development for years, ever since Orville London took office some time in 2001. The island has regressed over the last 10 years. Tobago Hilton is no more, investments are dwindling, such as for the Tobago Cove, as is tourism, the mainstay of the island.

On May 16, a 23-year-old young woman was admitted to Ward 53 of the Port-of-Spain General Hospital with possible pneumonia and a breathing problem. The service-driven staff of Ward 53 was so dedicated and efficient that they didn’t realise she was supposed to be on another ward.
