Mango Lassi is a popular, Indian yogurt-based fruit smoothie. Traditionally made with mango and spiced with cardamom, it’s a happy medium between a refreshing and decadent dessert. We take advantage of the abundance of sweet, meaty Julie mangoes and blend it with tart, unsweetened yogurt.

1 Julie mango, chopped
½ cup crushed ice
1 cup unsweetened, unflavoured yogurt*
2 teaspoons honey
¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
*We used natural yogurt which is not as thick as most brands. Use ¼ to ½ cup milk if lassi is too thick.
1 Add all ingredients into blender. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds or, until lassi is smooth.
2 Pour lassi into a tall glass and garnish with cardamom.
3 Serve chilled.
