After a successful first run and playing to sold out houses at Queen’s Hall last weekend, RS/RR Production is reprising Mind Yuh Business at Naparima Bowl, San Fernando, for another two nights, on Saturday and Sunday.
Directed by Cacique Award winners Debra Boucaud Mason and Richard Ragoobarsingh, Mind Yuh Business stars Nikki Crosby as a very inquisitive and delightfully hilarious cleaning lady.
Crosby is a talkative, maccocious, hilariously funny and intrusive cleaning lady who knows everyone and tends to mind everyone’s business a little too much in Mind Yuh Business.
Things get complicated when she discovers a dead body in a office and reports it to the police. When the police arrives the body has disappeared. She then decides to include herself in the investigation which pits her against the gruff Senior Supertindent played by to the comedic hilt by Richard Ragoobarsingh.
Crosby is backed up by an excellent cast that includes Cecilia Salazar as the Managing Director’s wife, a glamorous woman who is in an unhappy marriage; a handsome young accountant played by Saul Ramlal; Leslie Ann Lavine as the personal secretary who is devoted to her boss; Ria Ali playing a young sexy secretary; Glenn Davis as the very bullish and imperious boss. They are all herded together by a police detective played by Bradley Logan and a Senior Superintendant played by Richard Ragoobarsingh.
Tickets are on sale at the Naparima Bowl Box Office from noon to 6 pm daily, and are also available at all dvertised outlets.
