Digicel continued to spread cheer in this season of merriment, when members of staff visited the Just Because Foundation (JBF) Paediatric Specialty Unit of the Wendy Fitzwilliam Children’s Ward, at the Mount Hope Medical Sciences Complex, on Tuesday.

The faces of the little patients were aglow with excitement as they received their gifts from the Digicel Santa.   Great interest was also shown by the tiny tots as they listened intently to the stories read to them by Digicel staff. As they were hugged by Digicel staff, there was a sense of appreciation from them and big smiles to make the moments very precious for all present.

The JBF is non-profit, charitable organisation that is the brain child of Noel and Chevaughn Joseph who lost their young son to cancer. Digicel’s communications manager Penny Gomez noted that, “The children of the JBF have a special place in the hearts of the Digicel staff and it was a privilege for us to visit with them to show the caring that is synonymous with the season.”
