San Fernando's deputy mayor Navi Muradali hosted the first Christmas treat outside his constituency office on Coffee Street, San Fernando, on December 15. According to Muradali, the event was very well attended.
"Approximately 400 children received presents, party bags, and a small dinner with us. The treat was designed to foster a greater partnership with the people and their representatives," Muradali said.
He said in continuing with the Christmas spirit and the season of giving, a medical outreach clinic would be established throughout the various communities, whereby nurses, doctors, and lawyers would provide free services. Muradali said key projects in the area, such as the beautification project, would continue, adding that these projects provided employment in the area.
