In keeping with the brand's ethos "Never Standing Still," Johnnie Walker introduced a new shopping experience for shoppers at Tru Valu Trincity Mall.On December 13, Johnnie Walker launched its Mentor Zone to give consumers more insight into the world's biggest Scotch whisky brand. Brand ambassador, Shyam Seukeran, was on hand to give consumers an indepth look into each of the Johnnie Walker variants that included Red Label, Black Label, Green Label, Gold Label and Blue Label.
Each variant has a different flavour profile and Seukeran educated consumers on the best way each could be enjoyed, although he insisted there was no wrong way to enjoy a Johnnie Walker whisky. Johnnie Walker included a special treat for consumers who purchased the marquee variant, Blue Label, allowing them to have the opportunity to get a personalised message engraved directly onto the bottle. According to the team at local distributor, Bryden's, this added touch made the experience of giving a gift of Johnnie Walker Blue Label much more special.
The Mentor Zone also allowed consumers to have access to the vast library of information on the heritage of the world's biggest Scotch whisky. Consumers were able to view ipad and video presentations on the brand, and were also given booklets outlining the flavour profile of each of the variants.
