In recent times, we have become increasingly aware of the teachings of Western and Eastern society regarding various modalities of biological and psychological approaches to health care and healing. However, mankind seems to be losing the war against physical and mental diseases. Can there be spiritual roots to disease? Does God give guarantees of health and healing? Is there a connection between relationships and health? All these questions and more will be addressed at two weekends of conference, June 16 to 18 and June 23 to 24, at the Woodbrook Pentecostal Church this month.
Pastor Henry Wright of Be In Health Global, Thomaston, Georgia, USA, author of the international bestseller, A More Excellent Way, will be the speaker. Be in Health is an international organisation teaching principles that bring healing of relationships and health, as well as disease prevention. The organisation offers teachings to unravel the mysteries of disease and reveal pathways to health and wholeness. These teachings are based on scriptural insights and what is observable in the psychiatric and medical sciences.
According to Pastor Wright, the roots behind many diseases are often spiritual and are linked to how we think and feel. Fear, stress, guilt, and rejection are just a few examples that are included in the teaching.
All sessions are free of charge, however, freewill offerings will be received. Pastor Wright will also be bringing his many books, CDs, DVDs for sale.
