It was a most in­no­v­a­tive way to show­case both good jazz and el­e­gant fash­ion. Held at the Con­ven­tion Cen­tre Hall in Ch­aguara­mas, Jaz­zup The Run­way fea­tured four of jazz's best mu­si­cians along­side some of T&T's top de­sign­ers and top mod­els.

On the playlist were New Or­leans top trom­bon­ist and broth­er of Wyn­ton and Bran­ford Marsalis Delfeayo Marsalis; in­ter­na­tion­al­ly ac­claimed jazz vo­cal­ist Kim­mie Horne, niece of the leg­endary jazz vo­cal­ist and ac­tress Lena Horne; pop­u­lar Caribbean jazz sax­o­phon­ist Ar­turo Tap­pin; and, The Sean Thomas Trio.

Merg­ing jazz mu­sic with fash­ion were a bevy of tal­ent­ed mod­els high­light­ing de­signs by Shur­nel; Chris­t­ian Bou­caud De­signs; Koko Karibi De­signs; Off The Hook Dzigns; and Chi­zl Mensware.
