Pageants In­ter­na­tion­al staged a suc­cess­ful dou­ble pageant, Mr and Miss In­dia Trinidad and To­ba­go on June 11, at the Di­vali Na­gar Au­di­to­ri­um in Ch­agua­nas. The pageants pro­mot­ed the in­tel­li­gence and cul­tur­al di­ver­si­ty of young In­do Trinida­di­an men and women, parad­ing be­fore the judges in Bol­ly­wood gowns, suits and oth­er tra­di­tion­al East In­di­an wear.

At the end of a most en­ter­tain­ing night, Ari­ma beau­ty Has­si­ba Mo­hammed was named Miss In­dia Trinidad and To­ba­go 2011 and Le­ston Paul, Mr In­dia Trinidad and To­ba­go 2011. Mo­hammed's run­ners-up were Usha Sook­nanan of Fyz­abad and Far­rah Ho­sein of Cou­va, re­spec­tive­ly, while plac­ing be­hind Paul were Rishard Khan of Pe­nal and Avinash Mutroo of Bel­mont.
