Al­most one month to the day, af­ter open­ing its third lo­ca­tion at Trinci­ty Mall, Cold Stone Cream­ery con­tin­ued to ex­cite lo­cal ice cream lovers with the open­ing of its flag­ship lo­ca­tion at Movi­eTowne, In­vaders Bay. The mod­ern, full ser­vice store, which is lo­cat­ed on the sec­ond floor di­rect­ly above the Movi­eTowne box of­fice, host­ed more than 150 spe­cial­ly in­vit­ed guests, at apri­vate func­tion on June 23, in­clud­ing Movi­eTowne man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Derek Chin, Miss World 1986, Giselle Laronde West, lo­cal ac­tor Glenn A Davis, tele­vi­sion pre­sen­ters De­sha Ramb­ha­jan and Saman­tha John, as well as lo­cal ra­dio per­son­al­i­ties and so­ca artistes Shal Mar­shall and Blaze.

CEO of Sun­daes Ltd, Ste­fan Mon­teil, for­mal­ly cut the open­ing rib­bon and in­vit­ed guests to par­take in "the ul­ti­mate ice cream ex­pe­ri­ence." With an ar­ray of ice cream flavours rang­ing from pop­u­lar choco­late, to amaret­to, to cot­ton can­dy and a myr­i­ad of mix-ins, in­clud­ing Kit Kat, brown­ies, marsh­mal­lows, pecans and gum­my bears, guests, young and old found a Cold Stone ice cream cre­ation to sat­is­fy their de­sires.
