CFW (Caribbean Fash­ion Week), Kingston Ja­maica is now in year 11, the start of the sec­ond decade. First held in the first year of the new mil­len­ni­um, CFW achieved icon­ic sta­tus and re­spect. It has come to be re­gard­ed as the sem­i­nal Caribbean style event in the world.Each year, CFW gets big­ger and bet­ter. A new ini­tia­tive in 2011 is the fur­ther in­te­gra­tion of fash­ion and mu­sic, in the form of full length con­certs af­ter each night fash­ion show.Themed Nights-Ja­maica, Caribbean and In­ter­na­tion­al, the event her­alds such mega stars as Joe, Machel Mon­tano, Mova­do, Tanya Stephens, David Rud­der, Ben­nie Man, Fab Five and more.Hun­dreds of me­dia hous­es at­tend CFW each year, in­clud­ing such no­ta­bles as The As­so­ci­at­ed Press, Marie Claire, The New York Times, The In­de­pen­dent, Women's Wear Dai­ly, Fash­ion TV of Toron­to, Fash­ion TV of Paris, BBC, Vogue, and Van­i­ty Fair.The trio of T&T de­sign­ers for CFW2011 are Mel­ing, The Cloth and Zadd & East­man (Z&E).Zadd & East­man showed a col­lec­tion in cel­e­bra­tion of a fes­tive Caribbean peo­ple. Colour on a white can­vas is the norm. Z&E ex­plores colour with a black can­vas.
