Twelve young girls from around the coun­try will be com­pet­ing against each oth­er for the ti­tle of Lit­tle Miss Rose 2011 this Sat­ur­day. The Bon Air High School in Arou­ca will see the ar­eas of Ari­ma, La Hor­quet­ta, Tal­paro, Mal­abar, Mal­oney, Cou­va, Mar­aval. Laven­tille, Ch­agua­nas, San­gre Grande, Trinic­i­ty and Va­len­cia rep­re­sent­ed by con­tes­tants be­tween the ages of sev­en - 12-years old.Con­tes­tants will be com­pet­ing in the cat­e­gories of Eman­ci­pa­tion Wear, Tal­ent, In­de­pen­dence Gown and a Ques­tion and An­swer seg­ment.Show­time is at 4 pm and a guest ap­pear­ance would be made by Miss Teen Rose 2008 win­ner, Star­let John­son.The show is a col­lab­o­ra­tion be­tween Mine Pro­mo­tions and Phase 1 Fam­i­lies In­cor­po­rat­ed. It is en­ti­tled, 'An Evening of Pa­tri­o­tism.'The even­tu­al win­ner would be giv­en a cash prize of $3,000, two tick­ets to To­ba­go; spon­sored by Caribbean Air­lines; the ti­tle, crown and tro­phy; two vouch­ers for din­ner at Ru­by Tues­day; an I Pod; and, one pair of ear­rings.
