Mir­a­cle Church, lo­cat­ed on Rochard Dou­glas Road in Bar­rack­pore, cel­e­brat­ed its 14th an­niver­sary on Ju­ly 10. In June 1997, vi­sion­ary, Rev­erend Phillip Sam­lals­ingh, obeyed the call of God to ful­fill the great com­mis­sion. Sam­lals­ingh is the founder and pres­i­dent of Trinidad and To­ba­go Chris­t­ian Out­reach Cen­ter (In­ter­na­tion­al) (TTCOC) and the se­nior pas­tor of Mir­a­cle Church. His min­istry has tak­en him to US, Cana­da, Colom­bia, Eu­rope and In­dia and his great pas­sion for the lost has re­sult­ed in sev­er­al sig­nif­i­cant achieve­ments through­out the years. Sam­lals­ingh is al­so an ac­com­plished au­thor of sev­er­al best-sell­ing books, in­clud­ing Mir­a­cles: Rev­e­la­tions of His Will, Dai­ly Dose: Pre­scrip­tion for Des­tiny, De­liv­er­ance: The Key to Un­lock Des­tiny's Door, as well as his lat­est book, 7 Sides of the Cross.

At the an­niver­sary ser­vice, pres­i­dent and founder of the Slow Gospel Mu­sic Min­istries, Min­is­ter Lester Sook­lal was the hon­orary guest speak­er. His de­liv­ery of the theme, I press to­ward the mark for the prize of the high call­ing of God in Christ Je­sus.(Philip­pi­ans 3:14), was well re­ceived. Min­is­ter Kelvin Cor­bett and Joshua Har­ri­paul en­hanced the wor­ship with ren­di­tions on the steel­pan, while Sam­lals­ingh's daugh­ter, Rachael Bal­roop, thrilled the con­gre­ga­tion with her song Days of Eli­jah. Reuben Sam­lals­ingh dis­played video clips of the church's ac­com­plish­ments, as well as the var­i­ous min­istries for the past 14 years. Sam­lals­ingh was moved to tears as Rev­erend Cheryl Dunn, an as­so­ciate min­is­ter of the in­ter­na­tion­al branch of TTCOC in Cana­da; Rox­anne Sheri­dan, mu­sic min­is­ter of Cana­da; and Pas­tor Prasad of the or­phan­age in In­dia brought warm greet­ings and con­grat­u­la­tions.
