Spon­sored by the Em­bassy of the Fed­er­al Re­pub­lic of Ger­many, in sup­port of the Pointe-a-Pierre Wild­fowl Trust's 45th an­niver­sary, se­nior Trust ed­u­ca­tors have been vis­it­ing schools and com­mu­ni­ty groups in T&T, im­ple­ment­ing spe­cial pro­grammes on glob­al warm­ing, cli­mate change, how it af­fects us and what we can do about it. The pro­gramme com­ple­ments the Trust's in-house en­vi­ron­men­tal ed­u­ca­tion and pub­lic aware­ness pro­grammes.

Al­so fund­ed by the Ger­man Em­bassy, the Trust has pro­duced a book­let-Cli­mate Change: Trinidad & To­ba­go and the Caribbean-and a sup­port­ing poster, which are dis­trib­uted to the schools and com­mu­ni­ties to re­in­force the in­for­ma­tion shared.
