Devi Gajadhar is on a mission to help those who are troubled with spiritual and physical matters.Fondly called Sister Devi, the philantropist left her job as an investment banker in the United States a few years ago after living in that country for over 25 years.Gajadhar believes she was born as a gifted child, and realising that she could no longer run from the calling, she founded the Red Chariot Foundation in September last year, along with a few friends for whom she had done spiritual readings while living in the US.And while most of the nation was busy revelling over the Carnival weekend, she and members of the foundation spent that time distributing hampers to needy families in Princes Town and Penal-something they plan to do every month.
The hampers came from donations by individuals seeking spiritual readings and kindhearted people. Gajadhar said she had the ability to see "the spirits of people who have died," she could see the past, present and future, she could see inside the human body and anywhere in the three worlds. She said she had a lot of experience dealing with demons and evil spirits that harmed and affected people, and opined that many locals were experiencing various problems as a result of negative entities or demons in their homes.Gajadhar said she was willing to challenge all her detractors to the test. The soft-spoken woman claimed she could see the chakras and auras of people from far away.Gajadhar offers spiritual advice on TBC radio's Akash Vani 106.5 FM, part of Guardian Media Limited.
