De­vi Ga­jad­har is on a mis­sion to help those who are trou­bled with spir­i­tu­al and phys­i­cal mat­ters.Fond­ly called Sis­ter De­vi, the phil­antro­pist left her job as an in­vest­ment banker in the Unit­ed States a few years ago af­ter liv­ing in that coun­try for over 25 years.Ga­jad­har be­lieves she was born as a gift­ed child, and re­al­is­ing that she could no longer run from the call­ing, she found­ed the Red Char­i­ot Foun­da­tion in Sep­tem­ber last year, along with a few friends for whom she had done spir­i­tu­al read­ings while liv­ing in the US.And while most of the na­tion was busy rev­el­ling over the Car­ni­val week­end, she and mem­bers of the foun­da­tion spent that time dis­trib­ut­ing ham­pers to needy fam­i­lies in Princes Town and Pe­nal-some­thing they plan to do every month.

The ham­pers came from do­na­tions by in­di­vid­u­als seek­ing spir­i­tu­al read­ings and kind­heart­ed peo­ple. Ga­jad­har said she had the abil­i­ty to see "the spir­its of peo­ple who have died," she could see the past, present and fu­ture, she could see in­side the hu­man body and any­where in the three worlds. She said she had a lot of ex­pe­ri­ence deal­ing with demons and evil spir­its that harmed and af­fect­ed peo­ple, and opined that many lo­cals were ex­pe­ri­enc­ing var­i­ous prob­lems as a re­sult of neg­a­tive en­ti­ties or demons in their homes.Ga­jad­har said she was will­ing to chal­lenge all her de­trac­tors to the test. The soft-spo­ken woman claimed she could see the chakras and auras of peo­ple from far away.Ga­jad­har of­fers spir­i­tu­al ad­vice on TBC ra­dio's Akash Vani 106.5 FM, part of Guardian Me­dia Lim­it­ed.
