In­spi­ra­tional Speak­er and Au­thor of In Full Flight, Don La Fou­cade, will launch his sec­ond Fac­ing the Storms of Life...In Full Flight!, at Nalis, Port-of-Spain, this Sat­ur­day at 4pm. "I felt that one can­not just be 'In Full Flight!' but one has to lead some­where pur­pose­ful. Storms hap­pen so we must face the storms of life," La Fou­cade said of the cho­sen name of the book. He says the pub­li­ca­tion, which is al­so a work­book, is a col­lec­tion of in­spired ar­ti­cles which seek to pro­vide an­swers and cop­ing skills nec­es­sary, for the many peo­ple search­ing for un­der­stand­ing and ac­cep­tance.

La Fou­cade, a colum­nist with Guardian's gieMagazine, is the for­mer man­ag­er, So­cial In­vest­ment, Cor­po­rate Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, RBTT and was specif­i­cal­ly re­spon­si­ble for co­or­di­nat­ing the RBTT Young Lead­ers pro­gramme. He held the po­si­tion of sec­re­tary of the RBTT Ed­u­ca­tion Foun­da­tion. He has been de­liv­er­ing in­spi­ra­tional talks and work­shops around the Caribbean since 1999. He says his pas­sion for in­spir­ing oth­ers has de­vel­oped over the years through his in­volve­ment with youth in a va­ri­ety of so­cial are­nas. He has fa­cil­i­tat­ed pro­fes­sion­al de­vel­op­ment work­shops for sec­ondary school teach­ers and oth­er au­di­ences in­clud­ing uni­ver­si­ty stu­dents and lec­tur­ers.
