The sec­ond ses­sion of the Tenth Par­lia­ment will be pro­rogued at mid­night tonight, Par­lia­ment of­fi­cials said yes­ter­day. This fol­lows yes­ter­day's sit­ting of the Sen­ate, which has ad­journed for the ses­sion. A Gov­ern­ment spokesman said the cer­e­mo­ni­al open­ing of the Third Ses­sion of the Tenth Par­lia­ment will be held on Ju­ly 11. This will be the first cer­e­mo­ni­al open­ing at the cur­rent Wa­ter­front lo­ca­tion of Par­lia­ment. Yes­ter­day's Sen­ate ses­sion fea­tured the four new ap­pointees-Gan­ga Singh, Mar­lene Coudray, Lar­ry Howai, and Ja­mal Mo­hammed-who were an­nounced in the Prime Min­is­ter's Cab­i­net reshuf­fle last Fri­day. House of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives mem­bers whose port­fo­lios were changed in the reshuf­fle will have to wait un­til the third ses­sion of Par­lia­ment be­gins to take up their new places.
