Several up-and-coming designers got the opportunity to showcase their work at the Ministry of Labour and Small and Micro Enterprise Development “MOLSMED Connex 2012,” which ended at the Centre of Excellence in Macoya on July 7. The four-day exposition was held in celebration of 50 years of  Trinidad & Tobago Independence and commemorating the International Year of Cooperatives, and showcased the services offered by the Ministry of Labour and Small and Micro Enterprise Development.  It also provided a forum for many exhibitors to network and further develop their businesses. The fashion show by Lystra Cudjoe featured designs by Lynn Sandy, Sean Griffith-Perez, Concept Studio, Anna White, Dexter Jennings, Dominique La Roche, Stacey Smith and Keron Knights, among others. Guardian photographer Andre Alexander captured some of the fashions on display.
