World re­li­gious leader, Shri Han­jur Ardh Ham Sa­heb is on a month's vis­it to T&T to con­duct a se­ries of lec­tures and meet­ings. He will hold re­li­gious and spir­i­tu­al ses­sions in Freeport, Pe­nal, San­gre Grande, Siparia and To­ba­go, among oth­er com­mu­ni­ties. Known as the Param Pu­jya Panth, over the globe, Shri Sa­heb is a guest of the Kabir Panth As­so­ci­a­tion of Trinidad and To­ba­go. He is here to pro­mote the teach­ing and phi­los­o­phy of Sant Kabir, an avatar and uni­ver­sal teacher and men­tor. Sant Kabir's songs and teach­ings state that all mankind emerged out of the One Eter­nal Light, the Supreme Be­ing. "Sant Kabir ex­plained that mis­eries are caused by our sens­es which we fail to con­trol and they are man­i­fest­ed in­to greed, anger, pow­er, lust and at­tach­ment, and we al­low these neg­a­tive at­ti­tudes con­trol us, caus­ing mis­for­tune, dis­putes and di­vi­sions," Shri Sa­heb said. "I am here to re­in­force Sant Kabir's mes­sage to the peo­ple of Trinidad and To­ba­go, as I have been do­ing world-wide. He showed the path of ul­ti­mate truth to all hu­man be­ings ir­re­spec­tive of caste, creed, colour, re­li­gion. And by fol­low­ing his teach­ings, one can eas­i­ly at­tain sal­va­tion."
