Apos­tle Dr Austin de Bourg was con­ferred the Hon­orary Doc­tor­ate of Di­vin­i­ty De­gree by Rev Dr Phillip Young of In­ter­na­tion­al The­o­log­i­cal Sem­i­nary of Cal­i­for­nia. His con­fer­ment was for ex­ten­sive ser­vice to the King­dom of God lo­cal­ly and abroad and for hu­man­i­tar­i­an work in pover­ty strick­en na­tions. Dr de Bourg is not­ed for pi­o­neer­ing the In­de­pen­dent Full Gospel Move­ment in Trinidad and To­ba­go. He found­ed the Trinidad Chris­t­ian Cen­ter in 1980 and sub­se­quent­ly, Apos­tolic Re­new­al Min­istries in 2012.
