More than 1000 children were treated to a fun afternoon at the Kiwanis Club of St Helena's annual Christmas Toys & Treats Giveaway last Sunday at the Kiwanis building, St Helena Village, Piarco. The function was officially opened by the MP for Caroni East and Minister of Education Dr Tim Gopeesingh. The programme included parang music and popular Christmas songs, East Indian dancing and bags of toys goodies. Santa Claus and mascots Mr Mario, Mr Watty and Mr Moo Milk were on hand to meet and greet the children and their families.
