Baptists celebrate Victorious Faith
The Mount Pisgah Spiritual Baptist Archdiocese International will present Victorious Faith 2013, an evening of Song and Praise at the Transport and Industrial Workers Union Hall, Eastern Main Road from this evening at 5pm.
Victorious Faith 2013 is being presented in aid of the Archdiocese’s Counseling and support group, Genuine Love Obtained Volunteers Emancipation (Glove).
Glove is a support group that promotes and facilitates grief counselling. A release from the organisation said its aims are to make contact with individuals who have lost a loved one, provide information and direct individuals to agencies or individuals that will offer support.
Tickets are available at $40 for children and $60 for adults. For more information contact 493-5000.
The Archdiocese will also be celebrating the 72nd Anniversary of the Repeal of the Shouters Prohibition Ordinance and the 17th Anniversary of Spiritual Baptist Liberation Day. The theme for 2013 is Victorious Faith (Hebrews 11: 1–6 and Hebrews 4: 1–2).
The event will be held at the Oba Douglal’s Building 14 Tenth Avenue, Barataria.
