St Francois Girls' College Alumnae (SFGCA) will hold its seventh annual Mother's Day Brunch and Fashion Show on May 12, at the Cascadia Hotel and Conference Centre.
The SFGCA executive committee uses this fundraiser as another avenue to do its part in giving back to their Alma Mater.
St Francois alumnae Gillian Haynes-Roach said this week: "We are very proud members of SFGCA and extend sincere thanks to all who supported the brunch in the past and look forward to an equally dynamic event this year.
"Alumni and friends can bring along parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and make this a truly family event. So, on Sunday, let's celebrate the mothers, mothers to be, and all the special ladies in your lives. It is a special day to say 'thanks.' For the past students it is a great opportunity to reunite, chat about the good times and re-establish long lost friendships."
The SFGCA has promised an extensive programme packed with many delightful treats. One segment of the entertainment features Caribbean fashion from local designers, co-ordinated by the famous fashion director Richard Young, also live entertainment from local artistes. There would be lots of door prizes and of course the famous Dutch Auction.
For brunch and the entertainment, tickets cost $300, and the fun begins at 11 am.
