Planting trees for independence
The Inter American Development Bank (IDB) marked the 51st anniversary of Trinidad and Tobago’s Independence with a tree planting exercise at the Pointe-a-Pierre Wildfowl Trust.
Michelle Cross Fenty, IDB representative in T&T and her team visited the Wildfowl Trust and planted a selection of forest and fruiting trees. IDB staff based in Washington, DC also participated in the exercise.
