Oktoberfest feast at Hilton
The Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre, in collaboration with Carib Brewery, opened the Willkommen Oktoberfest Festival on October 22 at the hotel’s Pool Garden Restaurant.
During the four nights of the festival, which ended on October 25, the hotel merged the tradition of beer, delightful Bavarian cuisine and music for the enjoyment of customers.
To lend authenticity to the festival, German chef Rolf Jung, retired executive executive chef from the LAX Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles has worked with Hilton Trinidad’s executive chef Umesh Meena to produce the Oktoberfest feast, which included roasted meats, potato dumplings served with the traditional red cabbage, charcoal-fried fish and much more.
