First art gallery opens in Chaguanas
Artist Jessica Henry opened her gallery titled Art by Jessie Art Gallery at Lot 427, 18 Street, Edinburgh 500, Chaguanas, last Saturday.
The gallery is believed to be the first in Chaguanas, at least in recent history.
The highlight of the opening is Henry’s first one-woman show. A self-taught artist, she showed off landscapes and abstract paintings done in her favourite medium—oil.
Henry, who is a caregiver by profession, started painting as a child.
