Ketisha Williams copped two titles–Miss Commonwealth Caribbean and Miss Commonwealth Culture 2014-15–at the just concluded Miss Commonwealth International Pageant, held last month at the Park Inn Hotel by Radisson in London Heathrow.
Williams, who was the second runner up of the Miss Global International T&T 4 Pageant was the only delegate to runaway with two titles. She is a current Theatre Arts Major at the University of the West Indies and has indeed done her country proud.
Williams left for London on November 12 and returned on Sunday, November 16 with the crowns.
"It was indeed an amazing feeling being crowned two titles and hearing my national anthem played twice in London no words can express how that felt," said Williams, sending out heartfelt thanks to her family and friends and generous sponsors who helped and supported her.
She added: "This is an experience I would never forget and it has been a blessing."
Williams is a model and an aspiring actress/director and hopes to be able to travel the world one day, using the Arts to educate young people on various topics.
She is also currently in the process of directing Moulin Rouge, a musical, for next year where she can now use her new title of Miss Commonwealth Caribbean and Miss Commonwealth Culture to start her own charity and help improve the quality of life of children around the Caribbean and the world.
