Brent Torina, director of communities and interim general manager of the local chapter of YoPro is expressing optimism over the positive professional relationships being nurtured through fresh approaches employed by his team to the local concept of networking.
He was referring to the Wine and Chocolate evening hosted by his YoPro at Medulla Art Gallery on Fitt Street in Woodbrook on February 26.
"The YoPro network is growing in T&T and we're excited to see some of our guests from previous events return. It signals to us that we're doing something right and people are interested in continuing this journey with us.
"We have our Customer Service and Experience Workshop coming up at the end of March and so much more to look forward to for the rest of 2015," he said.
Torina said: "It's exciting to see the momentum that we're building and I can only continue to encourage people to get involved and be a part of what we're doing to share invaluable information with the local young professional community and create new opportunities for them through networking."
Scored of young professionals seemed fascinated by the concept. Distribution company AMCO supplied the range of wines, while Cocobel, House of Arendel and Sweets of Brazil with its Brigadeiros Chocolates joined forces to ensure that guests with that added sweet tooth would not be denied another bite.
Meanwhile, officials from statutory state agencies ExporTT and InvesTT updated the gathering about the positive developments that now abounds in the chocolate sectors, while advising entrepreneurs with export ambitions about sure ways to access global markets.
The National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB) also partnered with YoPro for the staging of the event.
