Kiwanis Christmas treat for children
The Kiwanis Club of St Helena held its annual toy giveaway and treat for children on November 26. The event was held at the Kiwanis building, Mohepath Trace, in St Helena Village.
Students from nearby primary schools as well as Early Childhood Centres from Piarco, Madras Road, Kelly Village, Las Lomas and St Helena were invited along with their families.
The big crowd was entertained by Mickey Mouse, Elmo, clowns, Anderson Duff (local Michael Jackson), Indian dancer Samantha Jagroop, face painting, Mr Mario and of course the Kiwanian Santa Claus came to distribute gifts.
All club members were on hand to help and many volunteers assisted.
The Kiwanis extended thanks to all who contributed to make this event a great success.
