Book Review
Author Carolyn Correia signs a copy of her book Thinking Out Loud.

Thinking Out Loud, a collection of inspirational articles, is Carolyn Correia’s first book and within each page contains something special for everyone. The name was chosen as it expresses what we often think about but seldom discuss. Each chapter encompasses all aspects of life with a realism that is true to the core and can be referred to for any situation one may encounter along life’s journey. Some key aspects include career and passion, family and relationships, the true meaning of Christmas, a tribute to parents, celebrating milestones and much more. It even takes a look back at the past year and charts the way forward with some New Year’s sentiments.
This collection opens our eyes to a new perspective, giving us a greater appreciation for life and allowing us to transcend our limitations. After reading it, you will discover a fresh and bold outlook to issues in your life that you once took for granted or thought no one else understood. The viewpoint is universal and open to all religions and denominations, cultures and schools of thought. It is an easy and relaxing read that takes you on a journey as you reflect on some of your past experiences and choices as it delves into the mind of the author and the revelations along her journey.
It ought to make a well-timed Christmas gift for the holidays for many people who are interested in healing, discovering their purpose, self-actualisation or a deeper meaning to life, as it focuses on the things that really matter which cannot be seen with the eye but felt in our “heart of hearts.” The author leaves readers with a quotation at the end of her articles so as to reinforce the meaning and theme. She says that her greatest wish while composing these articles was “to provide food for thought and assist in motivating or inspiring positive change in the lives of my readers and it is the hope that I can reach as many persons as possible.” Thinking Out Loud is available at RIK Bookstores nationwide and online at
