A 63-year-old man has been kid­napped, and a ran­som de­mand of $100,000 has been made for his safe re­turn.

Po­lice re­port­ed that around 6:50 pm on Sat­ur­day, they re­ceived a re­port that Vish­nu Lal­la of Dairy Lane, Wind­sor Park, Cal­i­for­nia, was at­tend­ing to his an­i­mals when he was ab­duct­ed.

Of­fi­cers said the man’s ve­hi­cle, a grey Toy­ota Hilux, was seen speed­ing off, and Lal­la was nowhere to be found. Some­time lat­er, his wife re­ceived a call from Lal­la’s phone, and a man on the oth­er end de­mand­ed the ran­som, which had to be paid by mid­night.

Po­lice lat­er found his burnt van at George Street, Es­per­an­za, Cal­i­for­nia.
