A 15-year-old boy was shot dead in Ari­ma on Thurs­day night. His fa­ther and his broth­er, 29, were al­so shot and wound­ed.

An­oth­er man, 34, who was shot in the same in­ci­dent died at hos­pi­tal.

The boy has been iden­ti­fied as Nicholas Jor­dan of Blan­chisseuse.

The oth­er de­ceased is Aneil Toolsie of #139 Mt Pleas­ant Road, Ari­ma.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, around 8 pm, both de­ceased and vic­tims were lim­ing on the pave­ment along Mt Pleas­ant Road, when they were ac­cost­ed by a lone gun­man, who point­ed a firearm at them and opened fire.

Jor­dan fell to the pave­ment, whilst the oth­ers took cov­er.

The as­sailant then es­caped in an un­known di­rec­tion.

Jor­dan's broth­er was treat­ed for gun­shot wounds to the ab­domen and mouth. He is in sta­ble con­di­tion and is to be trans­ferred to Mt Hope Hos­pi­tal. His fa­ther was treat­ed for gun­shot wounds to the fore­head (grazed) and left foot (grazed).

The scene was processed where 13 spent 9 mm shells and one pro­jec­tile were re­cov­ered.

Po­lice be­lieve re­tal­i­a­tion was the mo­tive.
