2 men and 2 women are T&T’s latest COVID-19 deaths

Four more peo­ple—two men and two women—have lost their lives to COVID-19, while an­oth­er 376 peo­ple have test­ed pos­i­tive for the dis­ease, ac­cord­ing to the lat­est up­date from the Min­istry of Health.  Dead are two el­der­ly males, one el­der­ly fe­male and one mid­dle-aged fe­male.

In its up­date for to­day, Tues­day 15 Feb­ru­ary 2022, the Min­istry notes all four per­sons had mul­ti­ple co­mor­bidi­ties, and their deaths have pushed up the na­tion­al death toll to 3,535 lives lost.

In ad­di­tion, the 376 new pos­i­tive cas­es, based on sam­ples tak­en be­tween Feb­ru­ary 10th and 14th, mean that there are now 21,461 ac­tive cas­es of COVID-19 in the coun­try, at this time.

Cur­rent­ly, some 698,274 peo­ple in the coun­try are ful­ly vac­ci­nat­ed, hav­ing com­plet­ed ei­ther a one-dose or two-dose reg­i­men for a COVID-19 vac­cine.

Some 684,069 peo­ple have re­ceived their first dos­es of a COVID-19 vac­cine, and 123,297 peo­ple have re­ceived boost­er dos­es as of to­day, Tues­day, the Min­istry’s up­date re­ports.
