Chair­man of the Siparia Re­gion­al Cor­po­ra­tion Leo Dood­nath, is mov­ing full pace ahead to­wards form­ing a Siparia Cham­ber of Com­merce. He per­son­al­ly hand de­liv­ered in­vi­ta­tions to all busi­ness places op­er­at­ing in Siparia to be part of the move­ment.

In his let­ter he high­lights some of the ad­van­tages that can be de­rived by the com­ing to­geth­er of busi­ness­es.

He stat­ed that as a uni­fied group, it was eas­i­er to lob­by Gov­ern­men­tal, NGOs, pri­vate and in­ter­na­tion­al agen­cies for bet­ter goods and ser­vices. He warned it was in their in­ter­est that they worked to­geth­er to­wards the con­tin­ued de­vel­op­ment and sus­te­nance of busi­ness in the area with­in which they op­er­at­ed.

Two gen­er­al meet­ings have been held with an av­er­age of 40 busi­ness and oth­er in­ter­est groups rep­re­sent­ed at each of the meet­ings.
