Minister in the Ministry of Education Clifton de Coteau says all efforts are being made for the reopening of the Morvant/Laventille Secondary School on January 3. De Coteau visited the school yesterday morning to ensure all arrangements are made to guarantee a safe and secure return of students, teachers and staff to the school compound.
"We are working closely with the Ministry of Works and Transport to correct the drainage situation next to the school," he said. "We also are working with the Trinidad and Tobago Solid Waste Management Co Ltd to prevent the sewerage from coming under the school compound."
