The sus­pects fled in dif­fer­ent di­rec­tions, but one of them was found a short dis­tance away at Sev­enth Street, hid­ing in a drain with gun­shot wounds. He was tak­en to hos­pi­tal where he was pro­nounced dead on ar­rival. The sec­ond sus­pect was picked up some time lat­er by the of­fi­cers who re­trieved a bag con­tain­ing cash and jew­el­ry from the rob­bery. The sus­pect, who was bleed­ing from gun­shot wounds, is hos­pi­talised un­der po­lice guard.
