The search for Don­na Maraj, who has been miss­ing for al­most four weeks, con­tin­ued yes­ter­day when po­lice of­fi­cers searched hous­es in Ari­ma and en­vi­rons. Maraj, 35, of Rod­ney Street, Las Lo­mas No 2, was last seen on De­cem­ber 1 when she dropped off her nine-year-old son in Ari­ma. Her burnt Lancer mo­tor car, PBF 8069, was found off an ac­cess road south of the Churchill-Roo­sevelt High­way, Aranguez, two weeks ago.

Po­lice pre­vi­ous­ly re­ceived tip-offs that Maraj was at Laven­tille Road, San Juan and even as far as Morne La Croix in Blan­chisseuse. Those search­es were fu­tile. Po­lice al­so car­ried out search­es in Mal­oney, Ari­ma and Arou­ca. Of­fi­cers of the An­ti-Kid­nap­ping Unit and Homi­cide Bu­reau are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.
