Bel­groves Group of Com­pa­nies cel­e­brat­ed the birth of Je­sus Christ in song and steel­pan at TCL Skif­fle Bunch pa­n­yard, San Fer­nan­do, on Wednes­day. The event, ti­tle Christ­mas Gift V1, was at­tend­ed by scores of peo­ple who took time out of their busy sched­ules to re­mem­ber that Christ­mas is cel­e­brat­ed be­cause Christ was born on that day.

Af­ter wel­com­ing re­marks by chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Kei­th Bel­grove, the in­no­va­tion was done by Fa­ther David Khan, fol­lowed by sev­er­al Bible read­ings re­lat­ing to Christ­mas. The au­di­ence al­so en­joyed per­for­mances by the South­er­naires Choir, Skif­fle Bunch and Los Di­nam­i­cos Parang Group. SW
