He said what was being offered was very reasonable. "What has been placed on the table is worthy of comparison to any other place in the world," he added. Meanwhile, McLeod said he was satisfied the Government was doing all it could to meet the demands of all sectors. He said the Government remained committed to the process of free collective bargaining. Persad-Bissessar said the Government was not hiding any money from the workers. She said if it had the money, as requested by the Public Services Association, it would have been paid but it did not. She was confident the matter would be resolved according to the law.
